I went through the Realtor®.com site and looked at the homes for sale, read descriptions and looked at pictures, and decided to go with Realty Austin. I went to your site and read the reviews under various REALTOR pictures and chose Ami. She was highly recommended by past clients. Initially, we contacted her to give us some advice on what to do with our well-lived house to get it ready to sell and the potential price (with or without updates). She sent her interior decorator, Jamie, to our house. They spent well over an hour; he was very detailed on colors, plumbing, and electric fixtures. All at no cost or pressure. This was back in September 2021. I felt the urge to have the house ready over the winter, but Ami kept telling us the Spring market will be good to hang on. I went through the Realtor®.com site and looked at the homes for sale, read descriptions and looked at pictures, and decided to go with Realty Austin. I went to your site and read the reviews under various REALTOR pictures and chose Ami. She was highly recommended by past clients. Initially, we contacted her to give us some advice on what to do with our well-lived house to get it ready to sell and the potential price (with or without updates). She sent her interior decorator, Jamie, to our house. They spent well over an hour; he was very detailed on colors, plumbing, and electric fixtures. All at no cost or pressure. This was back in September 2021. I felt the urge to have the house ready over the winter, but Ami kept telling us the Spring market will be good to hang on. My husband did as much of the work as he could and then we hired contractors to help us with other things. The house was finished with many of the renovations to the tee as laid out by Ami and Jamie. Ami came back in with her interior designer, who forgot her name, who brought in and placed the furniture just so in the house at no cost to us. It was gorgeous. We had so many showings that the road was blocked that weekend. We had many offers, well above asking. We were delighted. It was a very long road from Sept-Mar with a lot of doubts, questions, and frustrating moments-but through it, all Ami was by our side telling me (especially) to relax-not to worry. She never pushed or overstepped her role, just gave us advice and words of understanding. We know without a doubt in our minds that we chose the best Realtor®. We have recommended her to others. Having purchased 2 other homes in the past, I was used to the normal real estate agent and client relationship. The agent pushes for a quick sale, for the largest dollar value to get their commission. Most of the time ignoring my wants to try and force a less-than-perfect home on me. That was not my experience with Ami. From the first time we talked with Ami over zoom, Ami was really engaging and genuinely wanted to know about our family. Ami wanted to know about our family's interests and what I and my wife wanted in life. When my wife flew down to start looking for homes, Ami drove her all over to look at every spot Corey had an interest in. When we finally settled on our location, Ami was involved from start to finish with our house as our advocate, despite some really unfortunate experiences with delays and issues with our house, Ami was right there with us. Ami advocated for us with our builder, she was there to be our positive reinforcement when things hit delays, she was there to listen to us complain and be a shoulder to cry on. I was so happy with Ami that I recommend her to my closest friend who is in the process of relocating to Texas before our house was actually completed. You won’t find someone more dedicated who actually cares for their clients than Ami.
